In my day job, I'm a startup and venture lawyer with extensive list of crypto clients across all development stages and verticals in the space. I now operate my own firm and have extensive experience with helping founders through formation, operation, financings, tokenomics design and offshore structuring of token structures.

Focused on finding the right mix of execution speed + decentralization to help projects launch and de-risk. Protocols can't succeed if they aren't nimble at launch to react to market feedback and developments, but protocol resiliency is achieved through progressive decentralization. Intentional design and incentivization of decentralization through both protocol/tokenomics design and governance launched programs are crucial in that journey. Let's build the next key piece of the crypto tech stack the right way so founders can be focus on what's truly important: building a game-changing technology that will redefine the value accrual distribution between users and companies. Welcome to Web 3.0.

Name: Nick Pullman (Day One Law)

About me: I’m the founder of Day One Law, a law firm dedicated to helping crypto founders, investors, and ecosystems navigate the legal and regulatory challenges of the decentralized economy. My work focuses on structuring DAOs, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic legal guidance to projects building the future of Web3. I’m also a home staker for Ethereum and Gnosis, actively contributing to decentralization at both a technical and governance level. I believe that regulatory clarity and robust decentralization go hand in hand, and I’m committed to helping the industry grow in a way that is both innovative and legally resilient.

My views on the Obol Collective vision and why I want to be a delegate: Obol Collective’s mission to decentralize Ethereum’s validator infrastructure is a crucial step toward ensuring network resilience and long-term sustainability. I strongly believe that distributed validator technology (DVT) is key to reducing centralization risks and making Ethereum’s staking ecosystem more robust.

As both a home staker and a legal professional working closely with crypto founders and investors, I bring a unique perspective on governance, risk mitigation, and institutional adoption. By becoming a delegate, I want to help Obol grow by contributing governance insights, supporting legal clarity around staking and decentralization, and advocating for a more decentralized Ethereum at both a technical and regulatory level.

Through Day One Law, I also have the opportunity to connect with builders and institutions looking to engage with decentralized infrastructure, and I see this role as a way to further align legal frameworks with the ethos of decentralization.
